Maintenance Service Offerings

Maintenance services are necessary because proper maintenance increases both the efficiency and lifespan of your RV and its appliances.

These packages are flat rate packages (not billed hourly) and only exclude the $65 service trip fee and any replacement parts required.

Flood Lead Acid (FLA) Battery Maintenance

How Often: Depending on usage, every 2-3 months.

Description: Inspect battery for any signs of deterioration, test battery for proper voltage levels, add battery fluid, clean battery terminals of any corrosion to ensure good electrical contact, apply dielectric grease and ensure all battery connections are secure. Note: this service does not charge batteries.

Price: $30 for first battery + $15 for each additional battery.

Air Conditioner Maintenance

How Often: Recommended 2X a Year

Description: Perform check of system efficiency across evaporator coil, clean interior A/C filters, address short cycling issues, perform visual inspection of A/C shroud for cracks or damages, remove any debris from A/C casing, and unclog A/C drain, clean and deodorize A/C evaporator and condenser coils, clean fan blades, check all electrical connections for corrosion, ensure functionality of freeze sense, capacitors, compressor and fan motor. Check the thermostat and system are operating at correct voltage, check compressor amperage is within range and the system is performing as it should. Perform a final efficiency check.

Price: $150 per A/C unit + $65 for each additional unit.

Water Heater Maintenance

How Often: Recommended Annually

Description: Inspect condition / functionality of anode rod (if applicable), electric heating element (if applicable). Confirm functionality of all water heater safety features such as T & P valve, thermal cut off, TSTAT, ECO, and replace plastic drain plug (if Dometic unit). Clean and inspect propane burner orifice, check functionality of water heaters propane solenoids, and confirm wiring in good condition and check control board for corrosion, proper voltage, fuses and igniter functionality. Finalized with time pressure drop test to check for propane leaks and checking that the RVs LP gas detectors, smoke and CO detectors are within date and effective and check water heaters LP connections for leaks with an LP gas leak locator solution and sniffer. Any replacement parts required are billed separately, and subject to state/local sales tax.

Refrigerator Maintenance (Absorption)

How Often: Recommended Annually

Description: Confirm the refrigerator is leak free and is properly insulated, baffled and vented with working fans. Clean condenser coil, Clean and inspect propane burner orifice, check functionality of fridges propane solenoid, and confirm wiring in good condition and check control board for proper voltage, fuse and igniter functionality. Confirm heating element(s) functionality and amperage. Confirm functionality of all fridge safety features, such as the thermal fuse, thermo disc, thermal couple or HTMS. Confirm the thermistor is functional and within range.

Inspection of door seals and cleaning of roof vent. Finalized with time pressure drop test and checking RVs LP gas detectors, smoke and CO detectors are within date and effective and check refrigerators LP connections for leaks with an LP gas leak locator solution and sniffer. Any replacement parts required are billed separately, and subject to state/local sales tax.

Furnace Maintenance Service

How Often: Recommended Annually - Pre-Winter

Description: Furnace removal with cleaning, inspecting, and bench testing. Cleaning of furnace storage area, main burner orifice, blower wheel, and sail switch. Furnace control board operational testing / cleaning. Inspection and cleaning of combustion chamber. Inspection and cleaning of adjacent ducting, reassembly and reinstall. Finalized with time pressure drop test and checking RVs LP gas detectors, smoke and CO detectors are within date and effective and check furnace connections for leaks with an LP gas leak locator solution and sniffer. Any replacement parts required are billed separately, and subject to state/local sales tax.

Propane System Inspection

How Often: Recommended Annually

Description: Visual inspection of propane regulators, and propane tank, Inspect and test all LP gas detectors, smoke and CO detectors inside RV and ensure they are functioning and unexpired. Complete two time pressure drop tests, an operational pressure test, a lock-up test utilizing a manometer and check all LP gas connections for leaks with an LP gas leak locator solution and sniffer.

Slide Out Maintenance

How Often: Recommended Annually

Description: Keep your slide(s) operating smoothly by cleaning and inspecting the mechanism, lubricating OEM-approved points (not rack teeth), conditioning rubber wipers and bulb seals, verifying alignment (adjusted if needed) and cleaning/inspecting slide toppers. Recaulking any compromised exterior seams to help prevent water intrusion. Replacement parts are billed separately and subject to applicable sales tax.

1 Hour of New RV Owner Education

How Often: When you get a new RV.

Description: I will walk through your new RV with you and answer questions and explain your RVs exterior and interior components and functionality.

Anti-Rust Undercarriage Coating

How Often: Recommended Annually

Description: Visual inspection of chassis, wire brushing off any bad rust spots, and application of Fluid Film a rust and corrosion preventative product to all undercarriage metal surfaces. Price is labor only, Fluidfilm product to be billed separately and subject to state and local sales tax.

Winterization

How Often: Recommended seasonally before storing

Description: Draining and blowing out of all water lines, bypassing and readying water heater for winter (unless tankless), filling water lines and water pump with RV food grade antifreeze, visual inspection that all water lines, toilets, sinks, showers and p-traps are properly filled. Tanks should be dumped before tech arrival, and may require the ability to dump gray tank onsite. RV food grade anti-freeze billed separately and subject to state and local sales tax.

De-Winterization (and optional Fresh Water Sanitization Add-On)

How Often: Recommended seasonally after storing

Description: Draining and rinsing of all water lines of RV grade antifreeze then a full system fresh water rinse, cleaning out water pump strainer/faucet strainers. Blow off and inspection of roof, checking for insect nests inside appliances, and tire condition check. Finalized with time pressure drop test and checking RVs LP gas detectors, smoke and CO detectors are within date and functional. Requires access to city water, may require ability to dump gray tank onsite.

Price: $150 (De-Winterization Only) + $75 for Optional Fresh Water/Water Heater tank Sanitization.

Water Heater Descaling and Sanitization

How Often: Recommended Annually

Description: Drain and flush water heater, change anode rod (if applicable), perform a 45-min continuous flow sanitization and mineral buildup descale of water heater. Finalize with a fresh water system flush. Requires access to city water, may require ability to dump gray tank. Any replacement parts required are billed separately, and subject to state/local sales tax.

Roof Touch Up Maintenance Package

How Often: Recommended Annually

Description:Thorough roof inspection, and gentle roof wash with approved cleaning solution & filling of voids or cracks with proper grade fresh sealant and/or eternabond tape on minor roof damages. Finalized with RV roof UV protectant spray. Requires city water access. Note, if your roof seals haven’t been addressed for 3–5 years, you may need a different service level of Full Removal of All Sealant and Re-Caulking All Roof Seals. That price must be quoted after a visual inspection and is billed per labor hour.

This service, Roof Maintenance Package is subject to an additional $15 shop fee (subject to sales tax) for sealant required

Screw Trim Cover Replacement Maintenance

How Often: Recommended Every 2-3 Years or As Needed

Description: The screw trim is the vinyl trim along the edges of your RV that covers the screws holding your RV together. UV rays and heat cause this to crack and wear, leading to points of water access inside your RV via the screws, regular replacement reduces water intrusion risk at the screw lines. Screw trim replacement parts billed separately and subject to state/local sales tax.

Price: RV’s 25ft or less = $150
Price: RV’s 25ft or greater = $175

Removal of All Sealant and Re-Caulking All Roof Seals

How Often: Recommended every 3-5 years.

Description: Thorough roof inspection, then gently clean rubber roof surface with approved RV cleaning solutions, and soft wash. Removal of all existing seals, apply all new RV grade self leveling or non-sag sealant. Service is dependent upon weather conditions.

Price: Requires quoting - billed per hour.
